Big Weekend

This upcoming weekend is a big one for us, Huck is turning 1. *sigh

I'm starting to think it's reckless and unhealthy to love someone this much, like we set ourselves up for heartbreak. Maybe that's why we turn into such despicable creatures in our teenage years to help our parents let go.

Anyway, no more lamenting.

We are having a circus party. I ordered these invitations on Etsy from Emily Ferguson- they are so cute- there was a huge selection, it was really hard to choose- but these had the strong man on them so I had to go with that. It's my weakness!

This train is a vintage cake topper I found in my mom's cabinet a few months ago. I didn't even notice it was a circus train until last weekend when I snatched it up to get ready for the party. Each car holds a candle. It's amazing!

We are getting really excited!
