I participated in a local trunk show at an art gallery in downtown Springfield, MO this past Sunday afternoon. It was such a great experience. It was worth the entrance fee just to meet new like-minded people and pick their brains about other shows, Etsy shops, etc. It was also great motivation to get more shows lined up! So far I will be a Spumoni Bakery on March 2nd from 2-4, and at Zeleny art fair April 5-6th which is at Squidfoo and will be during Friday night art walk.
Shout out to the traveling button my new kindred spirit who makes amazing pieces out of old jewelry.
Ok, better get something done while these babies nap!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had such a positive experience! I've found craft shows to be a bit of a mixed bag... it's good to try a bunch of different shows & locations out and test the market a bit :)
