Mother's Day 2013
Yesterday was such a beautiful day. We got up, got Lox Bagels and Turtle Lattes from the Brown Egg, went shoe shopping, then headed to church.
After that we went to my in-laws for a delicious dinner of bacon wrapped grilled chicken, pasta salad, potato salad, and baked beans- all of which I didn't help with at all.
Huck enjoyed playing with his aunts, uncles, and cousins and playing outside. He was being so sweet to this kitten at first giving it kisses and nuzzling it, but then he started trying to bite it and crush it's skull- sorry little kitty...it's fine by the way.
Oh, and I wore an awesome outfit- my thrifted skort that I hemmed up, a lace backed cardigan, and my new mother's day shoes!
Great day all in all!

ReplyDeleteI've heard of the Brown Egg.........even had cake (I think) from there, but have NO clue where it's located!
it is on Kimbrough south of Cherry where text bucks used to be.
DeleteI love the outfit. If you ever feel the need to rid your closet of that skort let me know because I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteok, will do
DeleteThat turned out so great. I am impressed with your clothing altering skills. That orange kitty is precious. I love orange kitties.
ReplyDeleteit's really just hemming so far, but the right hem can really make a big difference (it's actually pretty un-even, shhhhhh, dont tell)
