Saturday was officially my last day working as a dietitian (for the indefinite future anyway) and yesterday was my first day as a stay at home mom and nanny (nanny sounds more official than babysitter, right?).
These are my two little playmates- you all know Huck, and the tiny one is miss Nora. He looks like a weird giant baby next to her |
So keeping that in mind here is a recent list of developments:
Huck finally had a little tooth popping through today.
I think he is starting to throw fits when he doesn't get his way.
He has finally started usuing consonants- baba, dada, momom- none of it is really that clear, but I'm not sure how to spell what he is really saying- there's more of a garble in it, like he's saying it with a german accent.
What's new with you?

He needs to just chill it and stop growing so fast. I want to live the simple life too.
ReplyDeleteI love that weird, giant, toothful, German-ish baby!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you! It will be as hard as it is fun & rewarding - staying home that is. Not for sure about that simple part though.
ReplyDeleteI had my own new chapter when I left teaching to be home more. It's scary, but it felt right. As I always say, 'follow the peace!' Best of luck!
